Railstons GmbH is a Swiss software company. We design, build, ship and support our own products — the app in your hand and the platform behind it — from Buochs, in Nidwalden.
What we build
Our own products, end to end.
We are not an agency and we do not sell hours. We pick a problem, build the product, put it in the stores and look after it.
Mobile apps
Native-feeling apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, built from one codebase and translated into twelve languages, so people can use them in their own.
AI platforms
Vision and language models put to work on the dull parts: reading a label, drafting the copy, pulling the facts out of a photograph. AI that saves a person time, not AI as a headline.
The whole stack
Database, sign-in, subscriptions, email, back-ups and the website — built and run by the same small team that writes the app.

iPhone · launchingA home inventory that actually gets used. Photograph what you own, say where you put it, and find it again — the loft, the garage, the box marked “misc”. FindMyItem is coming to the App Store in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with iPad and Android to follow.

- Your data is yoursNo advertising, no tracking inside our apps, and we never sell personal data. You can export everything and delete your account from inside the app.
- Swiss and EU data protectionBuilt to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK GDPR — not retrofitted to them.
- Your language, not oursTwelve languages, written by people rather than run through a machine and shipped unread.
- Small and reachableWrite to us and you reach the people who build the thing, because there is nobody else to pass you to.
